 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The project I am sharing today combines two of my absolute favorite products La Belle Vie Paper & Display Tray!  Plus "Send your Love" with the cricut mailbox project. Just in time for Valentine's Day !!

Now, I need the perfect pictures for the finishing touch !

Workshop Date: Thurs Jan 31, 2013 @ 6:30pm

Cost: $40.00

Buy Display Tray - shipping costs may apply

Supplies included in kit:

     - Display Tray (Z1750)
     - La Belle Vie Paper (retired)
     - Sparkles Black Flourishes (Z1745)
     - Sparkles Black and Grey Assortment (Z1745)
     - Foundry Pin Clips (Z1612)

     - Haunted Assortment - Grey Sparkles (retired)

Now let's start with the paper...

I absolutely love the colours in the La Belle Vie Paper Pack. The gorgeous smokey plum and blush pink tones mixed with the subtle black and neutral bamboo make for a great colour combination. I hate to see this product retire with the launch of the new idea book ! (See full retiring list)

Moving on to the bling --

From the sparkle black flourish cut to fit between the squares, to the grey sparkles used to embellish the initials of my hubby and myself.  The letters I and F were colured using the smokey plum stamp pad while the & symbol was covered in cardstock and sealed with liquid glass.  Lastly, the central embellishment was cut using the artiste cricut cartridge and folded into a spiral shape. The shimmer along the edges was added with the glitter glitz gel.

And for the opposite corner...

I embellished using more black flourish sparkles, foundry pin clips, and black gems on the cricut cut letters.  But what about the spiral flowers?  These were also cut using the cricut artiste cartridge and swirled to form 3-d flowers - Love the dimension they add !  And last but not least I added a quote or two to personalize MY display case.

And that's it... simply lovely  :)

But before you go, I'm sending my love to you with this adorable mailbox made with the Cricut Artiste collection... super cute and quick to make !

January Workshop - Winter Wishes

This layout fits right into the heart 2 heart challenge for January: Snow Much Fun!

So I'm finally done adding the finishing touches to my winter wonderland layout - and I'm super excited about how it turned out. I have included a brief list of supplies used along with various images of the layout itself.

But first let's start with a short video to show off the moving parts in the layout...

Supplies Included:
- Echo Park Winter Wishes Paper
- Echo Park Winter Wishes Cardstock
- Vellum paper (4" x 11")
- CTMH 12" X 12" Photo Storage - Horizontal Pockets (4113)
- CTMH Memory Protectors Flip Flaps x 3 (Z4114)
- Cricut Winter scene and snowflakes
- Stamped images included in kit

Purchase Layout - shipping costs may apply

Okay now for some close up's of the first page of the layout. This page was created using vellum paper over the pattern paper, along with staz-on and pigment inks to stamp the snowflakes on the vellum paper.

The winter scence was created using shapes from the Cricut Cartridges.  Check out all the bling on the vellum paper

The second page is made to fit the CTMH horizontal photo storage page protectors.

The third page is also made for the CTMH horizontal photo storage page protectors.

Now to place pages two and three into the photo storage pages and finish off with the 4x6" Flip Flaps.  It's about the Flip and the Flap...

That's all for now, HAPPY SCRAPPIN'

November Workshop - Blitzen Layout

So a few months back I made the layout showcased below for a workshop and thought I would pull it out of the woodwork to share with all of you.  This layout uses four of the CTMH Flip Flaps from the 12" assortment to create a unique multi-flap layout. Once put together the layout encompasses a total of SIX 12x12 layouts!

Let's start with a video - I'm betting you'll fall in love with the layout and flip flaps just like i did :)

So the main supplies used for this layout include:
         - Bo Bunny Blitzen Paper Pack Collection
         - Bo Bunny Double Dot Cardstock
(Wasabi, Ocean Blue, Wild Berry, Chiffon, Coffee)
         - Bo Bunny Blitzen Brads
         - CTMH Page Protector Flip Flaps 12" Assortment (Z1325)

Purchase Layout - shipping costs may apply

Now for the how-to-make the multi-flap layout - I started with a basic two page layout.

I then took the first page and cut it in half vertically and inserted each section into the CTMH 12" flip flaps.

When these first two flaps are opened to the left and right they reveal another 12x12 page which again will be cut into smaller sections.  I love how the paper worked out perfectly with the page protectors... the tree was 8" tall and the ornaments on top 4" tall - how perfect right !

And now for the last flip flap !  When you flip up and flip down flaps 3 & 4 you reveal the last 12x12 layout which will remain intact as a 12x12 layout  :)

And the best part is the layout fits into an album with the flaps still accessible.  It even lays nice and flat...

Now all that's left is your personal touch with your favorite x-mas stamps and embellishments !

Happy Scrappin Everyone !
